Soul Coffee introduces Coffee Bags

Soul Coffee recently introduced their latest innovation, Coffee Bags at a recent launch in Colombo. A first of its kind in the market, these specially designed coffee bags brew in the cup, leaving no residue.
Speaking to Founder and CEO Soul Coffee Rinosh Nasar, he said Soul Coffee Bags use only ground Arabica Beans grown in the highlands of Sri Lanka. Each coffee bag contains 100% freshly ground coffee, which only needs to be put in a cup of boiling water.

Speaking of the process of acquiring the highest quality beans for this product, Nasar said, "Our brand is ethically conscious and only sources coffee beans from dedicated smallholder farmers in Kandy, Bandarawela, Haputale and other hill country regions. We collect and roast within 48 hours. This way we get the exact flavour we need. These, when packed are delivered to hotels, cafes and retail outlets across the island within 48-hours of the coffee being roasted. This is what ensures the subtlety of the flavour. In this way, the 200-year legacy of Ceylon Coffee lives on with Soul Coffee's choice selection of Arabica Beans. Soul Coffee is available at Smooth Ceylon, Indulgence, Intense Espresso and now as Soul Coffee Bags".

Commenting on the present market Nasar said, we collect and process about a tonne of beans monthly. We ensure our quality and supply, by paying a top price for the best coffee beans. We are then assured of quality and quantity. Further we take care of our cultivators to ensure that they deliver the best product. We see to their other requirements as well. This really pays dividends in the long run.

Speaking of the idea behind the innovation he said, "If you want good, fresh coffee you need to either buy your own coffee machine or spend some time to prepare and filter the coffee. Soul Coffee Bags are for customers who want great, fresh coffee fast. It's very easy to make and you can use them anywhere – at home, at work and even while traveling."
